Restore Your Ride Quality
Your suspension system does more than provide a comfortable ride – it’s critical for vehicle stability, handling, and braking performance. Suspension FAQs
How long do shocks and struts last?
Shocks and struts typically last 50,000-100,000 miles, depending on driving conditions and road quality. They wear gradually, so you may not notice the decline in ride quality. We recommend inspection every 50,000 miles.
What’s the difference between shocks and struts?
Both dampen spring oscillations, but struts are structural components that support the vehicle’s weight and affect alignment. Shocks are standalone components. Your vehicle has either shocks or struts, rarely both. Struts are typically more expensive to replace.
Do I need to replace both sides at once?
Yes, we strongly recommend replacing suspension components in pairs (both front or both rear). Unmatched components create handling imbalances and can cause the vehicle to pull to one side. This also ensures even wear moving forward.
